How does Superband work?

note: this information is all based on the first season of Superband.As the show's title suggests, the goal of Superband is to create a "super band".The first two episodes of the show focus on the auditions, out of which 53 contestants pass. After the auditions, front people (leaders) are selected by the judges to form teams.Rounds 1 -3
There are three rounds of 1:1 team battles. At the start of each round, the names of front people are randomly selected out of a box and in that order they get to choose their team members (1-3 members).Each round, the judges vote for their favorite team. The team with the most votes is exempt from elimination and moves on to the next round. The losing team members are at risk of elimination. Contestants are eliminated at the end of each round.Round 4
Front people once again form teams of their choosing, this time they are required to be four people bands. Instead of 1v1 rounds, all groups perform and are given points out of 100 by each judge (500 in total). The groups are ranked by their total points.Round 4 was the last round of individual eliminations.Semi-finals
Before the semi-finals begin, the remaining contestants form their "permanent" bands. There is no front person at this point, all the members are able to choose each other. The teams formed are the top six bands that are competing for first place.There are two rounds of semi final performances. For each performance, there is a live audience. Teams are given points based on both judges and audience votes. Based on the total votes that each team receives in both rounds, they are ranked and the bottom two teams are eliminated.Finals
The top four bands face off in the final (broadcast live). Based on a combination of judges, audience and viewer voting (viewers could vote live by text), the team with the highest points is the winner of Superband.
